Necessary equipment for the tour
- Comfortable shoes preferable with a rubber sole (essential for walking on the volcano).
- Swimsuit (preferably dark-colored, as the water from the Hot Springs may stain) and towels.
- Sunscreen and a hat
- A jacket for the sunset cruise.
- Money/Cash for any food or drinks and for the 5€ entrance ticket to the volcano.

Optional Activities:
Please note that both swimming in the Hot Springs and the Volcano hike are optional activities. If you wish, you can remain on the boat during these stops.
Swimming Ability:
Swimming in the Hot Springs is not permitted for non-swimmers. Guests should be comfortable and confident swimming in open water. Also, for your safety, we strongly recommend that guests avoid consuming a heavy meal or alcohol before swimming.
For the Old Port of Fira
Cable car
The cable car is a perfectly safe option, consisting of 6 wagons with a capacity of 6 persons each.
During high season, it runs frequently (approximately every 20 minutes or sooner).
The ticket price is 10€ per adult (per way) and 50% for children.
Walking
You can get to the Old Port by the famous 600 traditional steps that connect the Old Port with the town of Fira. This is a unique path, rewarding travelers with stunning caldera views.
The walk is about 20-30 minutes, depending on your physical condition.
Donkey
Donkeys used to be the traditional transportation method on the island, going up and down to the Old Port frequently. The price is 10€ per person (per way) and the ride lasts about 10 minutes.

You park your vehicle at the parking lot at the port.

Pick-up Locations For Tours with Transfer

Please be aware that our excursions involve approximately one hour of hiking around the volcano.’ If you have any pre-existing health conditions, particularly related to the heart, respiratory system, or mobility, we strongly advise you to skip this part of the tour and not participate on the hike. The hike includes uneven terrain, and the warm climate can be physically demanding.
Additionally, swimming in the hot springs requires basic swimming skills, as you will need to swim approximately 30 meters to reach the hot springs. For your safety, please avoid eating a heavy meal or consuming alcohol prior to swimming.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled day or no show, fare is non-refundable.
For date changes requested within 24 hours of the scheduled trip no refund is available.
In case of the authorities or the captain declare that the weather condition is not safe for the tour to take place, fare is 100% refundable.
For cancellations made less than 1 week (7 days) prior to the scheduled day of the private tour or for a case of no-show, the fare is not refunded.
In case of the authorities or the captain declare that the weather condition is not safe for the tour to take place:
-We will first offer to reschedule for another date.
-If rescheduling is not possible, we will refund 100% of the fare.
In the unlikely event that the private tour doesn’t take place due to our own fault, 100% of the fare will be refunded.
Any bank or administrative costs arising from a refund are borne by the customer.
